The ‘Grande Albero’ cooperative was born in December 1995 through and by the gathered forces of a group of university scientific and humanistic faculties students and graduates.

Operating in the Marches region with the intention of properly promoting the area and to offer professional services in the following sectors: environmental education and information, Cultural and naturalistic tourism, arranging  events for local, private and environmental organizations.  As well as conferences for: Professional training, scientific research and environmental management.

 From the first projects designed mainly for the area of environmental education, in the last few years this project has succeeded in valorising tourism in the Marches region.

The vocation of the ‘Grande Albero’ follows many directions that are becoming better defined due to its years of experience.  We are leaders, in the Marches area and in particular in the province of Pesaro and Urbino, in organizing all kinds of events through its various phases and are proud of our ten year experience of creating programmes in Montefeltro area that allows the tourist to gain a thorough knowledge of the territory, its actors as well as the events that they represent; a plurality of “small” and yet significant excellence.

From the year 2005 it has collaborated with other representatives of the mountain communities of the Montefeltro and the Alta Val Marecchia in realizing tourist and cultural projects for San Marino.
In 2006 the ‘Grande Albero’ qualified as a Tour operator and became the principle intermediary for the local tourist system of Urbino and the Montefeltro in programming and constructing innovative tourist initiatives.  We are capable of valorising the ancient dukedom of Montefeltro and its splendid landscapes as well as, the excellence of its history and culture,  its antique traditions and the many quality events and initiatives.

The Grande Albero tour operator’s services are directed towards other tour operators, travel agencies, recreational clubs and businesses, to schools, to tourist groups and individuals.  We are able to offer diversified tourist proposals aimed to satisfy each specific needs. Individuating various targets of interest.  Its main objective is to analyse and understand the reasons that could stimulate the desire to come to know our territory in order to offer to each tourist a particular experience, for some verses unique and unrepeatable.

 Sport – Naturalistic Tourism:
Active vacations, that combines your favourite sport to your  vacation stay. Mountain bike itineraries, hoarse back riding and trekking are the best way of taking in all the beauty of our culture and territory without loosing contact with nature.

 Educational tourism – didactic laboratories:
Programmed instructional tours for children and students of all ages.  The usual school trip is transformed into an emotional experience full of activities, extremely informative.  Specialized guides will accompany you in the discovery of our art, history,  environment and the most important traditions of our province, through the visit to our most significant sites and the various didactic programs offered by the territorial museum structures.

A development of the most original tourist proposals in the discovery of the hidden characteristics of our land, in order to evidence its most curious and unusual aspects. Even more fascinating  and enticing through totally new theme approaches.  Historical – cultural itineraries that can be visited by car or on a  motorcycle on minor and little known roadways, often solitary, far from the traffic of the major highways, set away amidst amazing landscapes.

 Religious Themes:
